Do you enjoy driving down the road or crossing a bridge? Perhaps you work in a skyscraper. Civil Engineers are the minds that built those safely. There is a number of different specialties that you can operate under as a Civil Engineer.

You can be a geotechnical civil engineer studying sub-surfaces or a structural engineer that studies buildings. You could even be a water engineer working with towns mapping their water and wastewater systems.
