Help Desk Technician
Now as much as you may think, help desk technicians do a lot more than just reset your email password. A help desk technician is a professional problem solver. Yes, they do help reset passwords but if that pesky program isn't working correctly, you will often call tech support.
The first level help desk technician will do basic troubleshooting and if they are unable to solve your problem they could escalate it to a developer team.
Someone who is polished is key because they will likely work with internal and/or external customers. They will need to listen and make sure they adequately address the user's problems. They will need to document every step they have taken to solve the problem.
